ÖZET
 Amaç: Bir üniversite hastanesinde çalışan X ve Y kuşağındaki cerrahi hemşirelerinin iş doyumlarını ve iş doyumunu etkileyen faktörleri belirlemektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Araştırma, tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel bir çalışma olup, bir üniversite hastanesinin genel cerrahi, ortopedi, göğüs, kalp damar cerrahisi, beyin cerrahisi, üroloji, kulak burun boğaz ve plastik cerrahi servislerinde çalışan 75 hemşire ile yapıldı. Araştırmada, kişisel bilgi formu ve ?iş doyumu ölçeği? kullanıldı. Bulgular:Hemşirelerin iş doyumu puan ortalaması 90,58±16,56 idi. Hemşirelerin %50,8?i Y kuşağında idi. X ve Y kuşağındaki hemşirelerin iş doyum ölçeği toplam puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmadı. Kuşaklara göre, iş doyumu ölçeğinin bireysel faktörler ve fiziksel koşullar alt boyutları arasında anlamlı bir fark bulundu. Hemşirelerin çalıştıkları kliniklerden memnun olma durumuna göre iş doyum ölçeği puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir fark saptandı. Hemşirelerin kuşak farkı ve çalıştığı klinikten memnun olma durumunun iş doyumunu anlamlı düzeyde yordadığı belirlendi ve bu değişkenlerin toplam varyansın %35?ini açıkladığı saptandı. Sonuç: Cerrahi hemşirelerinin iş doyumu orta düzeyde bulunmuştur. X ve Y kuşağındaki hemşirelerin iş doyum düzeyleri benzerdir. Kuşak farkının iş doyumunu etkilemediği düşünülmektedir. Çalışma ortamından memnun olmayan hemşirelerin iş doyumu düşük saptanmıştır. İş doyumunu etkileyen faktörlere yönelik niteliksel araştırmalar yapılması önerilmektedir.

ABSTRACT
 Objective: To determine the job satisfaction of surgical nurses in X and Y generation working in a university hospital and the factors that affect job satisfaction. Material and Methods: The research was a descriptive and cross-sectional study. It was performed with 75 nurses working in general, orthopedics, chest and cardiovascular, neurosurgery, urology, otorhinolaryngology and plastic surgery services of a university hospital. Personal information form and ?job satisfaction scale? were used in the research. Results: 50.8% of the nurses are in the Y generation. The job satisfaction score of the nurses is 90.58?}16.56. There was no statistically significant difference between job satisfaction scale scores of nurses in the X and Y generation. A significant difference was found between the individual factors and the physical conditions subscales of the Job Satisfaction Scale of nurses in the X and Y generation. A significant difference was found between the scores of job satisfaction scale according to the satisfaction of the clinics where nurses work. It was determined that the nurses? generation difference and satisfaction with the clinic they work at significantly predicted job satisfaction, and these variables explained 35% of the total variance. Conclusion: Job satisfaction of surgical nurses was found moderate. Job satisfaction levels of nurses in the X and Y levels are similar. It is thought that generational difference does not affect job satisfaction. The job satisfaction of nurses who are not satisfied with the working environment is low. It is recommended to conduct qualitative research on job satisfaction.

4. GENERAL PROVISIONS

4.1. "Turkiye Klinikleri" is completely free to determine which of the services and contents provided in the "SITE" will be charged.

4.2. People benefiting from the services provided by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and using the website can use the "SITE" only according to the law and only for personal reasons. Users have the criminal and civil liability for every process and action they take in the "SITE". 8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE". "Turkiye Klinikleri" may change the contract terms and the changes will be come into force by specifying the version number and the date of change on time it is published in the "SITE".
