Evaluation of Prenatal Attachment Status in Pregnants with a History of Miscarriage: Descriptive Research

ÖZET
 Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı, düşük öyküsü olan gebelerin prenatal bağlanma düzeylerini belirlemektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Tanımlayıcı nitelikte olan araştırmanın örneklemini, bir üniversite hastanesinin gebe izlem polikliniklerine başvuran, daha önce düşük yapmış ve araştırmayı kabul eden 137 gebe oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verileri, sosyodemografik ve obstetrik özelliklere yönelik 13 sorudan oluşan anket formu ile prenatal bağlanma envanteri kullanılarak toplandı. Tanımlayıcı istatistikler, ortalama, standart sapma, sayı ve frekans olarak değerlendirildi. Anlamlılık düzeyi için p<0.05 kabul edildi. Bulgular: Araştırmada gebelerin yaş ortalamalarının 29,07±5,71 olduğu, %48,2'sinin ilköğretim mezunu olduğu, %62'sinin en uzun il merkezinde yaşadığı, çoğunluğunun (%81,8) çekirdek aile yapısında ve %34,3'ünün 3-5 yıldır evli olduğu saptandı. Gebelerin eşlerinin yaş ortalamalarının 32,68±6,26 ve yarıdan fazlasının (%56,9) ilköğretim mezunu olduğu belirlendi. Gebelerin obstetrik özellikleri incelendiğinde; %81,8'inin 1 kez düşük yaptığı, %58,4'ünün 6-15 gebelik haftası aralığında düşük yaptığı, %63,5'inin düşük nedenini bilmediği, %65'inin ise düşüğe yönelik bir tedavi almadığı tespit edildi. Araştırmada gebelerin prenatal bağlanma envanteri toplam puan ortalamalarının 57,67±11,30 olduğu belirlendi. Sonuç: Düşük öyküsü olan gebelerin prenatal bağlanma düzeylerinin iyi düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiş olup, gebelerin düşük sayıları arttıkça prenatal bağlanma düzeylerinin azaldığı saptandı.

ABSTRACT
 Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the prenatal attachment levels of pregnant women with a miscarriage history. Material and Methods: The sample of the descriptive study consisted of 137 pregnant women who applied to the pregnant follow-up outpatient clinics of a university hospital, had a previous miscarriage and accepted the study. Research data were collected using a questionnaire form consisting of 13 questions on socio-demographic and obstetric characteristics and the prenatal attachment inventory. Descriptive statistics were expressed as mean, standard deviation, number and frequency. A value of p<0.05 was accepted for the significance level. Results: It was determined that the average age of the pregnant women participating in the study was 29.07±5.71, 48.2% were primary school graduates, 62% were in the province where they lived the longest, most (81.8%) were in nuclear family structure, and 34.3% were married for 3- 5 years. It was determined that the mean age of the spouses of the pregnant women was 32.68±6.26 and more than half (56.9%) of them were primary school graduates. When obstetric characteristics of pregnant women are examined; it was determined that 81.8% had a miscarriage once, 58.4% had a miscarriage between 6-15 weeks of gestation, 63.5% did not know the reason for the miscarriage, and 65% did not receive a treatment for abortion. In the study, it was determined that the mean prenatal attachment inventory total score of pregnant women was 57.67±11.30. Conclusion: It was determined that the prenatal attachment levels of the pregnant women with a history of miscarriage were good level, and it was determined that the prenatal attachment levels of the pregnant women increased as the number of miscarriages increased.

4.2. People benefiting from the services provided by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and using the website can use the "SITE" only according to the law and only for personal reasons. Being late or failure of performance or non-defaulting of this and similar cases like this will not be the case from the viewpoint of "Turkiye Klinikleri", and "Turkiye Klinikleri" will not have any damage liability for these situations. "Force majeure" term will be regarded as outside of the concerned party's reasonable control and any situation that "Turkiye Klinikleri" cannot prevent even though it shows due diligence. Also, force majeure situations include but not limited to natural disasters, rebellion, war, strike, communication problems, infrastructure and internet failure, power cut and bad weather conditions.

8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE". "Turkiye Klinikleri" may change the contract terms and the changes will be come into force by specifying the version number and the date of change on time it is published in the "SITE".
