ÖZET
 Amaç: Modern tıp aracılığı ile aldığı tedaviler sonucu sağlığına kavuşamayan hastalar, kendi çabalarıyla kurumsallaşmış tıbbın imkânlarını bir kenara bırakarak, bazen çok basit bazen ise kompleks yöntemlerden faydalanarak şifa bulabilmektedir. Kendi çabalarıyla ulaştıkları şifa, bireylerin 'sıradan' hasta/hasta yakınından farklı özellikleri olduğunu düşündürmektedir. Bu doğrultuda yapılan araştırma sonucunda, 'hastalık bilgeliği' kavramsallaştırması ortaya çıkmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Araştırmada, nitel araştırma yöntemi tercih edilmiş olup, bireylerin deneyimlerine odaklanıldığı için fenomenolojik desende çalışılmıştır. Yedisi hasta, 2'si hasta yakını olmak üzere 9 katılımcı ile derinlemesine görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Bulgular: Elde edilen verilerin analizi sonucunda 'hastalıktan önceki hayat', 'hastalığı fark etme süreci', 'teşhis süreci', 'kötü haberin verilmesi', 'hastalıkla mücadele süreci', 'iyileşme motivatörleri', 'hastalıkla birlikte değişimler', 'iyileştikten sonra gelen değişimler', 'hasta ve hasta yakınlarının hastalık bilgeliği çağrışımları', 'hasta ve hasta yakınlarını hastalık bilgeliğine götüren özellikler', 'modern tıbba yönelik eleştiriler' olmak üzere 11 tema ve her bir temanın altında alt temalar saptanmıştır. Sonuç: Hastalık bilgeliği kavramının ortaya çıkmasında hasta/hasta yakınlarının, modern tıp aracılığı ile sağlıklarına kavuşamadıklarını düşünmeleri ve hekimin kötü haberi verme tarzının etkili olduğunun, temelde bu 2 durumun hasta/hasta yakınlarını bireysel çabaları ile çare aramaya yönelttiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

ABSTRACT
 Objective: Patients those do not regain their health with the treatments they receive through modern medicine and therefore exhaust all possibilities of institutionalized medicine at times search for healing using methods of ranging complexity. This healing achieved by their own efforts point is considered to differ in terms of features in individuals than the 'ordinary' patient/patient relatives. Accordingly, as a result of the research carried out in this direction, the conceptualization of 'disease wisdom' has emerged. Material and Methods: The study used a qualitative research method and it was studied in a phenomenological pattern because it focused on the experiences of individuals. In-depth interviews were conducted with 9 participants that includes 7 patients and 2 patients' relatives. Results: The analysis of the data obtained from the interviews led to the identification of 11 main themes and respective sub themes, including, 'life before the disease', 'the process of noticing the disease', 'the diagnosis process', 'giving the bad news', 'the disease fighting process', 'motivations for recovery', 'changes with the disease', 'changes after healing', 'the illness wisdom connotations of the patients and their relatives', 'features that bring the patients and their relatives to the wisdom of the disease' and 'criticisms of modern medicine'. Conclusion: The study concluded that the emergence of the concept of disease wisdom and patient/patient's relatives' consequent search of alternative remedies were impacted by not regaining their health through modern medicine and the effectiveness of the physician's style of giving bad news was considered to be the two factors that led to the patient or their relatives seeking remedy through their individual efforts.

1. TERMS OF USE

4. GENERAL PROVISIONS

4.1. "Turkiye Klinikleri" is completely free to determine which of the services and contents provided in the "SITE" will be charged.

4.2. People benefiting from the services provided by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and using the website can use the "SITE" only according to the law and only for personal reasons. Users have the criminal and civil liability for every process and action they take in the "SITE". Every USER agrees, declares and undertakes that they will not proceed by any function or action infringement of rights of "Turkiye Klinikleri"s and/or other third parties', they are the exclusive right holder on usage, processing, storage, made public and revealing any written, visual or auditory information reported to Turkiye Klinikleri" and/or "SITE" to the third parties. 8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE". "Turkiye Klinikleri" may change the contract terms and the changes will be come into force by specifying the version number and the date of change on time it is published in the "SITE".
