ÖZET
Amaç: Uyku-uyanıklık döngüsü, insanlarda gözlemlenen en temel sirkadiyen ritimdir ve bireyin yaşam kalitesini, sağlığını önemli derecede etkilemektedir. Vardiyalı çalışma ve uzun süre yapay aydınlatmaya maruz kalma, beslenme düzeninde de bozuklukları beraberinde getirmekte, sirkadiyen ritim ile uyku kalitesini olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Mevcut araştırmada, vardiyalı çalışmanın hemşirelerin uyku kaliteleri ve beslenme davranışlarına olan etkilerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Bu araştırma, vardiyalı olarak çalışan 103 hemşire üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Hemşirelere; vardiya süresi, kaç yıldır vardiyalı çalıştıkları gibi soruların yer aldığı genel bilgi sorularının yanı sıra uyku kalitesini değerlendirmek için Pittsburgh Uyku Kalite İndeksi (PUKİ), beslenme davranışlarını değerlendirmek için üç faktörlü beslenme anketi uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Hemşirelerin PUKİ toplam puanı 8,46±3,24 olarak bulunmuştur. Ayda 5 gece ve altında vardiyalı çalışan hemşirelerin uykuya dalma sürelerinin daha kısa olduğu (p0,05) ancak 1-3 yıldır vardiyalı çalışan hemşirelerin, bilişsel kısıtlama davranışlarının düşük olduğu saptanmıştır Sonuç: Vardiyalı çalışan hemşirelerin uyku kalitelerinin düşük olduğu, vardiya sıklığının uyku kalitesine etki ettiği, buna karşın aylık gece vardiya sayısı ile bireylerin yeme davranışları arasında ilişki olmadığı saptanmıştır. Diğer taraftan vardiyalı çalışma yılının, beslenme davranışlarına yansıdığı ve 1-3 yıldır vardiyalı çalışanlarda bilişsel kısıtlama davranışının azaldığı saptanmıştır.

ABSTRACT
Objective: The sleep-wake cycle is the most basic circadian rhythm observed in humans and significantly affects the quality of life and health. Working in shifts and being exposed to artificial lighting for a long time also cause disturbances in the diet, negatively affect the circadian rhythm and sleep quality. In this study, we aimed to examine the effects of shift work on sleep quality and nutritional behaviors. Material and Methods: This study was conducted on 103 nurses working in shifts. The questionnaire containing questions such as, shift duration, how many years they had worked in shifts and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), to evaluate sleep quality, and a three-factor nutrition questionnaire, to evaluate nutritional behaviours, were applied. Results: The total score of the nurses' PSQI was 8.46±3.24. Nurses working in shifts 5 nights or less per month had a shorter time to fall asleep (p0.05), but the cognitive restriction behaviors of the nurses working in shifts for 1-3 years were low. Conclusion: The sleep quality of nurses working in shifts was low, the frequency of shifts affects sleep quality, on the other hand there was no relationship between the number of night shifts and the eating behaviors. However the year of working in shifts is reflected in their nutritional behaviors, cognitive restraint behavior decreased in shift workers who worked for 1-3 years.

4.2. People benefiting from the services provided by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and using the website can use the "SITE" only according to the law and only for personal reasons. Users have the criminal and civil liability for every process and action they take in the "SITE". "Force majeure" term will be regarded as outside of the concerned party's reasonable control and any situation that "Turkiye Klinikleri" cannot prevent even though it shows due diligence. Also, force majeure situations include but not limited to natural disasters, rebellion, war, strike, communication problems, infrastructure and internet failure, power cut and bad weather conditions.

8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE". "Turkiye Klinikleri" may change the contract terms and the changes will be come into force by specifying the version number and the date of change on time it is published in the "SITE".
