ÖZET
Amaç: İki farklı antibakteriyel ajan ile üretilmiş kompozitlerin Candida albicans (C. albicans) adezyonunu değerlendirmektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Biyoaktif Cam (BAC) ve Nano-Çinko Silisyum (NÇS) içeren kompozitlerden toplamda 40 adet örnek hazırlandı (n=10). Deney grupları 1. Grup: Kontrol (antibakteriyel ajan ilavesi yok); 2. Grup: %10 BAC; 3. Grup: %10 NÇS; 4. Grup: %10 BAC +%10 NÇS olarak oluşturuldu. Her grupta örneklerin yarısına tükürükle muamele edildi, diğer yarısı distile suda bekletildi. C. albicans ATCC 14053 Sabouraud Dextrose Agar'da 37°C'de aerobik koşullarda 48 saat inkübe edildi. Örneklerin üzerine 2' şer mililitre hazırlanan maya solüsyonu dağıltıldı ve 37°C'de başlangıç adezyonu için 2 saat inkübe edildi. Mikroskobik inceleme için örnekler steril metilen mavisiyle boyandı. Bağlanması gerçekleşen maya hücreleri ışık mikroskobu altında bir araştırmacı tarafından sayıldı. Sonuçlar hücre sayısı/ alan şeklinde belirlendi. Elde edilen veriler Two-way ANOVA testi analiz edildi. Bulgular: Materyal çeşidinin C. albicans adezyonuna etkisi olduğu tespit edildi (p=0,006). Tükürükle kaplı olmasının C. albicans adezyonunda etkili olduğu saptandı (p=0,001). Tükürükle kaplı örneklerde, BAC'nın C. albicans adezyonu NÇS ile karşılaştırıldığında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulundu (p=0,047). Tükürükle kaplı olmayan örneklerde, BAC'da kontrol grubuna göre C. albicans adezyonunu istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu tespit edildi (p=0,02). Sonuç: Farklı antibakteriyel ajan içeren kompozit gruplarının farklı miktarlarda C. albicans adezyonu gösterdikleri tespit edildi. Tükürükle muamelenin, deney gruplarında C. Albicans adezyonunu artırdığı gözlendi.

ABSTRACT
Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate Candida albicans (C. albicans) adhesion of composites with two different antibacterial agents. Material and Methods: A total of 40 samples were prepared from composites containing bioactive glass (BAC) and Nano- Zinc Silicium (NÇS) (n=10). Experimental groups were fabricated as Group 1: Control (no addition of antibacterial agent); Group 2: 10% BAC; Group 3: 10% NÇS; Group 4: 10% BAC+10% NÇS. In each group half of the samples were treated with saliva and the others were kept in distilled water. C. albicans ATCC 14053 was incubated at 37C for 48 hours in aerobic conditions on Sabouraud Dextrose Agar. 2 mL of prepared yeast solution was dispersed onto the samples and incubated for 2 hours at 37C for initial adhesion. The samples were stained with sterile methylene blue. Attached yeast cells were counted by a researcher under light microscopy. The results were determined as cell number/area. Data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA test. Results: Material type had an effect on C. albicans adhesion (p=0.006). Saliva coated was effective on C. albicans adhesion (p=0.001). There was a significantly difference between BAC-NÇS in saliva-coated samples (p=0.047). C. albicans adhesion on BAC was found statistically significant than control group in non-saliva samples (p<0.05). Conclusion: Composite groups which contain different antibacterial agents showed different amounts of C. Albicans adhesion. It was observed that treatment with saliva increased C. albicans adhesion in experimental groups.

1. TERMS OF USE

1.1. 1.2. The owner of the "SITE" is Ortadoğu Advertisement Presentation Publishing Tourism Education Architecture Industry and Trade Inc. (From now on it is going to be referred as "Turkiye Klinikleri", shortly) and it resides at Turkocagi cad. No:30, 06520 Balgat Ankara. - Providing scientific articles, books and informative publications for health industry.

- Providing structural, statistical and editorial support to article preparation stage for scientific journals.

4. GENERAL PROVISIONS

4.1. "Turkiye Klinikleri" is completely free to determine which of the services and contents provided in the "SITE" will be charged.

4.2. People benefiting from the services provided by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and using the website can use the "SITE" only according to the law and only for personal reasons. Users have the criminal and civil liability for every process and action they take in the "SITE".
