Tez lerin %88,9'u doktora, %11,1'i yüksek lisans tezidir. Çalışmaların %72,2'si deneysel tasarımla, %27,8'i ise yarı deneysel tasarımla yürütülmüştür. Tezlerin örneklem grupları incelendiğinde, %64,9'unun Tip 2 diyabetli bireylerle, %29,4'ünün Tip 1 diyabetli bireylerle ve %5,9'u gestasyonel diyabetli bireylerle gerçekleştirildiği görülmüştür. Kullanılan model/kuram/teoriler incelendiğinde, çalışmaların Pender'in Sağlığı Geliştirme Modeli (%16,7), Transteoretik Model (%16,7), Watson'un İnsan Bakım Modeli (%16,7), Sağlık İnanç Modeli (%16,7), Roy'un Adaptasyon Modeli (%11,1), Orem'in ÖzBakım Eksikliği Teorisi (%11,1), Bilgi Motivasyon Davranış Becerileri Modeli (%5,6) ve son olarak Meleis'in Geçiş Teorisi'ne (%5,6) temellendirildiği görülmüştür.

ABSTRACT
The aim of the systematic review is to systematically examine the use of theory and model in postgraduate nursing theses on diabetes in Turkey. Within the scope of the review, nursing theses conducted with diabetes patients based on any nursing theory or model in Turkey, between 2000 and 2021, registered in the National thesis center, and whose full text can be accessed, constituted the sample of the research. The studies were reached by searching the databases of the National Thesis Scanning Center with the Turkish keywords 'Model, Theory, Diabetes, Nursing'. Included studies were included in the review according to the PICOS method. The Cochrane Risk of Bias Tool and the ROBINS-I tool were used to assess the bias risk of the studies. PRISMA statement for reporting systematic review was used as a guide to report the study. As a result of the screening, 18 postgraduate nursing theses, based on a model or theory, were accessed. 88.9% of these reports were doctoral theses and 11.1% were master's theses. 72.2% of the studies were conducted with an experimental design, and 27.8% with a quasi-experimental. 64.9% of the theses were conducted with Type 2 diabetes patients, 29.4% with Type 1 diabetes patients and 5.9% with gestational diabetes patients. This systematic review revealed that Pender's Health Promotion Model (16.7%), Transtheoretical Model (16.7%), Watson's Human Care Model (16.7%), Health Belief Model (16.7%), Roy's Adaptation Model. Model (11.1%), Orem's Self-Care Deficit Theory (11.1%), Information Motivation Behavioral Skills Model (5.6%), and Meleis' Transition Theory (5.6%) were used in the nursing theses. The review also ascertained that nursing theories and models used in diabetes management appear to provide improvements in diabetes knowledge, physiological and psychological adaptation to the disease, diabe'es self-care power, sleep quality and quality of life. In addition, the use of models and theories has improved glycemic control in individuals with diabetes, reduced glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels, and reduced hopelessness and stress levels of the individual, giving positive results.
