ÖZET
 Günümüzde hekimler ve diğer sağlık çalışanlarının, mesleklerini nitelikli bir şekilde uygulamaları için sürekli ve düzenli olarak tıbbi araştırmaları okumaları, yorumlamaları ve bu araştırmalara bizzat dâhil olmaları gerekmektedir. Sağlık bilimleri alanında yapılan çalışmaların miktar ve hızındaki artış, hekimlerin tüm yeni yayınları takip etmesini zorlaştırmakta ve bu durum, araştırma sonuçları ile klinik tedaviler arasında kopukluklar ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Bu nedenlerle kişisel klinik tecrübelerden esas alan karar verme süreci, yerini kanıta dayalı uygulamalara bırakmaya başlamıştır. Kanıta dayalı diş hekimliği uygulamaları, mevcut en iyi araştırma kanıtlarını, klinisyenin deneyimi ve hastanın değer ve tercihleri ile birleştirir. Başka bir deyişle kanıta dayalı uygulamalar, bu 3 parametreden oluşan bir sacayak üzerinde konuşlandırılmıştır da denilebilir. Kanıta dayalı uygulamalar, hekimlere; kanıta ulaşma ve ulaşılan kanıtın değerlendirilmesinde yardımcı olur, hastaların tanı ve tedavi işlemlerinin daha yararlı bir biçimde yürütülmesini sağlar. Bu uygulamalar, yalnız klinik pratik için değil toplum ağız sağlığı çalışmalarında ve yeni klinik protokollerin hazırlanmasında da önem kazanmıştır; üniversitelerin mezuniyet öncesi ve sonrası eğitim programında da ayrı bir ders konusu olarak yer almaktadır. Bilimsel çalışmalardan elde edilen kanıtlar; değerine, önemine ve geçerliliğine göre sıralanarak bir kanıt piramidi oluşturmuştur. Kanıt piramidinde yer alan epidemiyolojik araştırma yöntemleri, pek çok şekilde sınıflandırılmaktadır. Bu derlemede, kanıta dayalı diş hekimliği uygulamaları, bilimsel çalışmalar ve bu çalışmaların sınıflandırılması hakkında bilgiler yer almaktadır.

ABSTRACT
 Today, clinicians and other healthcare professionals need to read, interpret constantly, research medical studies to practice professionally and involve to the studies personally. The increase in the number of studies in health sciences makes it difficult for physicians to keep up with all new publications, and there are gaps between research results and clinical treatments. For these reasons, the decision-making process based on personal clinical experience has begun to leave its place to evidence-based practices. Evidence-based dentistry practices combine the best available research evidence with the clinician's experience and the patient's values and preferences. In other words, evidence-based practice is a strategy deployed on a trivet consisting of 3 parameters. Evidence-based practices help physicians in obtaining and evaluating the evidence, and enable patients to be diagnosed and treated more efficiently. These applications have gained importance in clinical practice and community oral health studies and prepared new clinical protocols. It is also included as a separate subject in universities' education programs before and after graduation. An evidence pyramid was created by listing the evidence obtained from scientific studies according to their value, importance, and validity. Epidemiological research methods in the evidence pyramid are classified in many ways. This review includes information about evidence-based dentistry practices and scientific studies, and their classification.

1. TERMS OF USE

"Force majeure" term will be regarded as outside of the concerned party's reasonable control and any situation that "Turkiye Klinikleri" cannot prevent even though it shows due diligence. Also, force majeure situations include but not limited to natural disasters, rebellion, war, strike, communication problems, infrastructure and internet failure, power cut and bad weather conditions.

8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE".
