Oney Animal Love Scale Validity and Reliability Study

ÖZET
 Amaç: Araştırmanın amacı kişilerin hayvan sevgisi düzeylerini ölçecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı oluşturmaktır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Araştırma metodolojik tiptedir. Araştırmacılar tarafından literatür taranarak oluşturulan 64 soruluk taslak ölçek uzman görüşlerine sunularak kapsam geçerliliği değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Uzman görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesi sonucu ölçeğin Kapsam Geçerliği İndeksi (KGİ) 0,85 bulunmuştur. Uzman görüşleri doğrultusunda ölçeğe uygun düzeltmeler yapıldıktan 53 maddelik taslak hâli belirlenmiştir. Sonrasında oluşan 53 maddelik ÖNEY (sırasıyla araştırmacıların isimlerinin baş harfleri) Hayvan Sevgisi Ölçeği ve sosyo-demografik özellikler anketi 625 katılımcıya uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları için madde analizi, Cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayısı, testin iki yarıya bölünmesi yöntemi, açıklayıcı faktör analizi ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yöntemleri uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Ölçeğin yapı geçerliği için açıklayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır, ölçeğin Kaiser- Meyer-Olkin (KMO)=0,912, Bartlett testi sonucu p=<0,001 olarak bulunmuştur. Oblimin döndürme yöntemi ile döndürme sonrasında yer aldığı faktördeki yük değeri 0,45'in altında olan ve en az iki faktördeki yük değerleri farkı 0,1'den az olan maddeler ölçekten çıkarılmıştır. Ölçek, 28 madde ve 5 alt boyuttan oluşan son hâlini almıştır. Ölçeğin Cronbach alpha değeri=0,89 bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Yapılan geçerlik ve güvenirlik analizleri sonucunda ÖNEY Hayvan Sevgisi Ölçeği geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek olduğu bulunmuştur.

ABSTRACT
 Objective: The aim of the study is to establish a valid and reliable measurement tool to measure the animal love levels of individuals. Material and Methods: The research is of methodological type. The content validity was evaluated by presenting the draft scale of 64 questions prepared by the researchers by scanning the literature to expert opinions. As a result of the evaluation of expert opinions, the Content Validity Index (CGI) of the scale was found to be 0.85. After the corrections were made in accordance with the opinions of experts, a draft of 53 items was determined. Then, the 53-item ONEY (initial letters of the researchers' names) Animal Love Scale and sociodemographic characteristics questionnaire were applied to 625 participants. For the validity and reliability studies of the scale, item analysis, Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient, split-half test, explanatory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis methods were applied. Results: For the construct validity of the scale, explanatory factor analysis was performed, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO)=0.912, Bartlett test result was found to be p=<0.001. The items with a load value of less than 0.45 and a load difference of at least two factors of less than 0.1 were excluded from the scale after the rotation with oblimin rotation method. The scale was finalized with 28 items and 5 sub-dimensions. The Cronbach's alpha value of the scale was 0.89. Conclusion: As a result of validity and reliability analyzes, ONEY Animal Love Scale was found to be a valid and reliable scale.

"Force majeure" term will be regarded as outside of the concerned party's reasonable control and any situation that "Turkiye Klinikleri" cannot prevent even though it shows due diligence. Also, force majeure situations include but not limited to natural disasters, rebellion, war, strike, communication problems, infrastructure and internet failure, power cut and bad weather conditions.

8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE". "Turkiye Klinikleri" may change the contract terms and the changes will be come into force by specifying the version number and the date of change on time it is published in the "SITE".
