ÖZET
 Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı, üst santral dişlerde insizal embraşür, kron boyutu ve orta hat diastema miktarındaki değişikliklerin, meslek dışı bireyler; diş hekimliği 2 ve 3. sınıf (preklinik) öğrencileri ve diş hekimliği 4 ve 5. sınıf (klinik) öğrencileri arasında estetik algıya olan etkisini değerlendirmektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Gülümseme bileşenleri açısından estetik gülümsemeye sahip, kadın bireyden gülümseme fotoğrafı alınmıştır. Ana fotoğraf referans olarak kullanılmıştır ve diğer 10 görüntü, Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 programı kullanılarak gülümseme bileşenlerinde modifikasyonlar yapılarak oluşturulmuştur. Değişiklik yapılan gülümseme bileşenleri; üst santral dişlerde insizal embraşür, kron boyutu ve orta hat diastemasıdır. Her görüntüde bir değişende modifikasyon yapılmıştır. Anket formu, cinsiyet ve diş hekimliği öğrencilerinin sınıf bilgisinin yer aldığı tanımlayıcı sorular içermektedir. Referans görüntü ve modifiye edilmiş 10 adet gülümseme ile birlikte toplam 11 adet görüntü kullanılmıştır. Her bir görüntü için ayrı, 0-10 değerleri arasında bir skala, formlara eklenmiş ve gönüllü katılımcılardan estetik açıdan değerlendirme yapmaları istenmiştir. İnternet ortamında hazırlanan ankete 232 meslek dışı birey, 175 preklinik öğrencisi ve 183 klinik öğrencisi katılmıştır. Görüntülerin estetik algısı skorlarının karşılaştırılmasında ''bağımsız t-testi'' ve ''tek yönlü varyans analizi'' yapılmıştır. Farklı grupları belirlemede ''Duncan testi'' kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Orta hat diasteması 3 mm bulunan görüntü hem preklinik hem de klinik öğrenci grubu tarafından en düşük skoru alan görüntüdür (p<0,05). Yalnızca 2 mm santral boyu kısaltma yapılan görüntüde, preklinik öğrencileri ile klinik öğrencilerinin estetik algısı açısından anlamlı bir fark ortaya çıkmıştır (p<0,05). Görüntüler arası yapılan karşılaştırma sonuçlarında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar gözlenmiştir (p<0,05). Sonuç: Çalışmada 2 mm santral boyu kısaltma yapılan görüntü dışındaki tüm görüntülerde preklinik öğrenciler ve klinik öğrencilerin görüntülere verdiği estetik skorlar benzerdir.

ABSTRACT
 Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the changes in incisal embrasure, crown size, and midline diastema amount in upper central teeth, in non-occupational individuals. To evaluate the effect on aesthetic perception among dentistry 2nd and 3rd year (preclinical) students and 4th and 5th year dentistry (clinical) students. Material and Methods: A smile photograph was taken of a female individual with an aesthetic smile in terms of smile components. The main photo is used as a reference and the other 10 images were created by making modifications to the smile components with Adobe Photoshop, 2014. Modified smile components; incisal embrasure, crown size, and midline diastema in the upper central teeth. One varying modification was made to each image. The questionnaire contains descriptive questions about the gender and class information of dentistry students. A total of 11 images were used, including the reference image and 10 modified smiles, A separate scale between 0-10 for each image was added to the forms, and volunteer participants were asked to make an aesthetic evaluation. 232 non-professional individuals, 175 preclinical students, and 183 clinical students participated in the online questionnaire. ''Independent t-test'' and ''one-way analysis of variance'' were used to compare the aesthetic perception scores of the images. The ''Duncan test'' was used to identify different groups. Results: The image with 3 mm midline diastema is the image with the lowest score by both the preclinical and clinical student groups (p<0.05). There was a significant difference in the aesthetic perception of preclinical and clinical students in the image where only 2 mm central length was shortened (p<0.05). Statistically significant differences were observed in the comparison results between images (p<0.05). Conclusion: The aesthetic scores of preclinical and clinical students were similar in all images except for the 2 mm central shortening image.

"Force majeure" term will be regarded as outside of the concerned party's reasonable control and any situation that "Turkiye Klinikleri" cannot prevent even though it shows due diligence. Also, force majeure situations include but not limited to natural disasters, rebellion, war, strike, communication problems, infrastructure and internet failure, power cut and bad weather conditions.

8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE". "Turkiye Klinikleri" may change the contract terms and the changes will be come into force by specifying the version number and the date of change on time it is published in the "SITE".
