Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan hemşirelerin yaş ortalaması 26,67±4,33 olup, %70,8'i kadındır. Hemşireler, basınç yaralarının değerlendirilmesinde (%65,4), yaraların önlenmesinde (%67,7) ve yaraları iyileştirmede (%67,7) kendilerini kısmen yeterli hissetmektedir. Hemşirelerin Modifiye Pieper Basınç Yarası Bilgi Testi puan ortalaması 34,81±4,41; yara tanımlama alt boyut puan ortalaması 4,86±1,27; evreleme alt boyut puan ortalaması 5,99±1,42; önleme/risk değerlendirme alt boyut puan ortalaması 23,89±3,13 olarak belirlenmiştir. Modifiye Pieper Basınç Yarası Bilgi Testi ile Basınç Ülserlerini Önlemeye Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği arasında anlamlı düzeyde bir ilişki bulunmamıştır (p>0,05). Sonuç: Yoğun bakım hemşirelerinin, basınç yarası bilgi düzeyleri yeterli ve basınç yarasını önlemeye ilişkin tutumları olumlu bulunmuştur.

Among the nurses, 65.4% thought themselves partially qualified in evaluation of pressure wounds, 67.7% in prevention of wounds and 67.7% in healing the wounds. Mean score of nurses in Modified Pieper Pressure Ulcer Knowledge Test was determined as 34.81±4.41; wound description subscale mean score as 4.86±1.27; staging subscale mean score as 5.99±1.42; prevention/risk evaluation subscale mean score as 23.89±3.13. Mean score for Attitude Towards Pressure Ulcer Prevention Scale was found as 39.05±5.89; qualification subscale mean score as 7.98±1.81; priority subscale mean score as 8.28±2.00; impact subscale mean score as 10.72±1.79; responsibility subscale mean score as 5.93±1.61 and effectiveness of preventions subscale mean score was found as 6.15±1.33.
