ÖZET
Amaç: Geleneksel ve tamamlayıcı tıp (GETAT) uygulamaları ülkemizde sık olarak kullanılan yöntemlerdir. Koronavirüs hastalığı2019 [coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19)] salgını sırasında da hastaların bu yöntemlere başvurma sıklıkları artmıştır. Bu çalışma ile Kahramanmaraş'ta GETAT uygulamalarının ve COVID-19 salgını döneminde kullanılan ilaç-takviye gıda kullanım durumlarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışmamız, tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel tipte olup 19.10.2020-21.12.2020 tarihleri arasında Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesine başvuran kişilerle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma davetini kabul eden 390 kişi çalışmaya dâhil edilmiştir. Araştırmacı tarafından literatür ve kılavuzlar taranarak geliştirilmiş 51 soruluk anket gönüllü hekimlere yüz yüze ya da internet aracılığıyla uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: GETAT uygulamaları kullanım sıklığı %44,4, ebeveynlerin çocukları için yöntem kullanım sıklığı %31,3 idi. Lise üzeri grupta (p<0,001), köy/kasabada yaşayanlarda (p=0,001), kronik hastalığı olanlarda (p=0,032) ve sigarayı bırakmış olanlarda (p=0,022) GETAT yöntemleri kullanım sıklığı anlamlı şekilde fazlaydı. En sık kullanılan yöntem bitkisel ürünler (%85,2), en sık kullanılan halk hekimliği yöntemi ise dua okumadır (%94,0). COVID-19 salgını başladıktan sonra en sık kullanılan ilaç/gıda takviyesi %65,6 ile C vitamini olmuştur. Yöntemler için en sık aktarların (%26) tercih edildiği saptanmıştır. Katılımcıların %73,6'sı kullandıkları yöntemler konusunda aile hekimlerine bilgi vermemektedir. Sonuç: Çalışmamız sonucunda, GETAT yöntemlerinin konusunda uzman, sertifikalı sağlık çalışanlarının sayısı artırılarak, ilgili kurumlarca gerekli ve yeterli denetimler yapılarak kanıta dayalı olarak yapılması gerektiği sonucuna varmaktayız.

ABSTRACT
Objective: Traditional and complementary medicine (TCM) practices are widely used in our country are methods. The frequency of patients resorting to these methods during the coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) outbreak increased. With this study, the possibility of the emergence of TCM applications and the use of drugsupplementary food used during the COVID-19 epidemic in Kahramanmaraş. Material and Methods: Our study is of cross-sectional data and was carried out between 19.10.2020-21.12.2020 with people belonging to Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University Medical Faculty Hospital. 390 people who accepted the study invitation were included in the study. The 51-question questionnaire, developed by the researcher by scanning the literature and guidelines, was administered to the volunteer physicians either face-to-face or online. Results: The cost of using TCM applications was 44.4%, and the cost of using the method for executive consumers was 31.3%. The group above high school (p<0.001), those living in a village/town (p=0.001), those with chronic diseases (p=0.032), and those who had quit smoking (p=0.022) were high, which alleviates the burden of using TCM methods. The most frequently used method was herbal products (85.2%), the most common. The folk medicine method used is prayer reading (94.0%). After the start of the COVID-19 epidemic, the most commonly used drug/food was vitamin C with 65.6% after delivery. For the methods, herbalists (26%) can be preferred most frequently. 73.6% of the participants inform their family physicians about their visit. Conclusion: As a result of our study, we are changing the need to increase the number of healthcare professionals who are experts in the field of TCM methods and to make necessary and sufficient audit structures based on evidence by the relevant institutions.

4.2. People benefiting from the services provided by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and using the website can use the "SITE" only according to the law and only for personal reasons. "Force majeure" term will be regarded as outside of the concerned party's reasonable control and any situation that "Turkiye Klinikleri" cannot prevent even though it shows due diligence. Also, force majeure situations include but not limited to natural disasters, rebellion, war, strike, communication problems, infrastructure and internet failure, power cut and bad weather conditions.

8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE". "Turkiye Klinikleri" may change the contract terms and the changes will be come into force by specifying the version number and the date of change on time it is published in the "SITE".
