ÖZET
 Amaç: Yaşlı bakımı programları, ülkemizde ön lisans düzeyinde eğitim vermektedir. Yaşlı bakımı programı öğrencileri, mezuniyet sonrası yaşlı bakım teknikeri unvanı alır ve bakımevleri ya da huzurevleri gibi yerlerde istihdam edilebilirler. Yapılan çalışmanın amacı, ülkemizde hâlihazırda öğrenci almakta olan devlet üniversitelerindeki yaşlı bakımı programlarında bulunan akademik kadro yapısını incelemektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Tanımlayıcı tipteki çalışmaya, Türkiye'de bulunan ve öğrenci alan tüm devlet üniversitelerindeki yaşlı bakım programları dâhil edildi. Kadrosu, yaşlı bakımı programında bulunan akademik personel ve bu personelin meslek dağılımıyla ilgili bilgiler, üniversitelerin resmî internet sayfalarından elde edildi. Araştırmada, yaşlı bakımı programlarında bulunan akademik personelin mezun oldukları lisans bölümleri dikkate alındı. Verilerin analizinde, SPSS 23 programı kullanıldı. Bulgular: Elde edilen verilere göre 2019 yılında devlet üniversitelerinde toplam 67 yaşlı bakımı programı, 1. öğretim düzeyinde öğrenci kabul etmiştir. Bazı üniversitelerin bünyesinde birden fazla yaşlı bakımı programı mevcuttur. Bu programlarda, farklı mesleklere mensup toplam 202 akademisyen görev almaktadır. Yaşlı bakımı programlarında bulunan akademisyenlerin %56,9'u hemşire olup, %24,2'si sosyoloji, biyoloji, sağlık memurluğu, iktisat, beden eğitimi gibi bölümlerden mezundur. Geriye kalan akademisyenlerin %9,9'u fizyoterapist, %2,5'i psikolog, %2'si gerontolog, %2'si ebe, %1,5'i hekim ve %1'i diyetisyendir. Sonuç: Yaşlı bakımı programlarının akademik kadrosunda hemşirelerin yanı sıra hekim, fizyoterapist, gerontolog, psikolog ve diyetisyen gibi farklı alanlardan sağlık profesyonellerine daha çok yer verilmeli ve multidisipliner bir yaklaşım benimsenmelidir.

ABSTRACT
 Objective: Elderly care programs provide education at the associate level in our country. After the graduation, elderly care program students receive aged care technician title and they can be employed such as places home care or nursing homes. The aim of this study is to examine the structure of the academic staff in the elderly care programs in the state universities currently receiving students, in our country. Material and Methods: All the elderly care programs which receiving students in state universities in Turkey were included in this descriptive study. The academic staff and their information about the occupational distribution were obtained from the official websites of the universities. In the research, the undergraduate departments of academic staff in elderly care programs were taken into consideration. SPSS 23 program was used to analyze the data. Results: According to the obtained data, a total of 67 elderly care programs accepted students at the primary level in state universities in 2019. Some universities have more than one elderly care program. 202 academicians from different professions take part in these programs. 56.9% of the academicians in the elderly care programs are nurses; 24.2% graduated from departments such as sociology, biology, health services and economics. 9.9% of the remaining academicians were physiotherapists and 2.5% were psychologists, 2% were gerontologists, 2% were midwives, 1.5% were physicians and 1% were dieticians. Conclusion: Health professionals from different fields such as physicians, gerontologists, physiotherapists, psychologists and dietitians should be more involved in addition to nurses in the academic staff of elderly care programs and a multidisciplinary approach should be adopted.

1. TERMS OF USE

1.1. - Providing scientific articles, books and informative publications for health industry.

- Providing structural, statistical and editorial support to article preparation stage for scientific journals.

4. GENERAL PROVISIONS

4.1. "Turkiye Klinikleri" is completely free to determine which of the services and contents provided in the "SITE" will be charged.

4.2. People benefiting from the services provided by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and using the website can use the "SITE" only according to the law and only for personal reasons. Users have the criminal and civil liability for every process and action they take in the "SITE". Every USER agrees, declares and undertakes that they will not proceed by any function or action infringement of rights of "Turkiye Klinikleri"s and/or other third parties', they are the exclusive right holder on usage, processing, storage, made public and revealing any written, visual or auditory information reported to Turkiye Klinikleri" and/or "SITE" to the third parties. Being late or failure of performance or non-defaulting of this and similar cases like this will not be the case from the viewpoint of "Turkiye Klinikleri", and "Turkiye Klinikleri" will not have any damage liability for these situations. "Force majeure" term will be regarded as outside of the concerned party's reasonable control and any situation that "Turkiye Klinikleri" cannot prevent even though it shows due diligence. Also, force majeure situations include but not limited to natural disasters, rebellion, war, strike, communication problems, infrastructure and internet failure, power cut and bad weather conditions.

8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE". "Turkiye Klinikleri" may change the contract terms and the changes will be come into force by specifying the version number and the date of change on time it is published in the "SITE".
