ÖZET
 Sağlık bakım hizmeti sunan birimlerde hasta mahremiyetinin korunması ve sürdürülmesinde hemşirelerin önemli sorumlulukları vardır. Hemşirelerin bu konudaki yaklaşımları, sahip oldukları profesyonel değerleri ile ilişkilidir. Hemşirelikte profesyonel değerler kişisel değerler, mesleki kuruluşların etik kodları ve kurumsal değerlerin harmanlanmasıyla hasta bakım sürecinde uygulamaya aktarılır. Bu araştırma, cerrahi birimlerde görev yapan hemşirelerin profesyonel değer algısı ve mahremiyet ilişkisini belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapılmıştır. Tanımlayıcı türde yapılan bu çalışma, 19 Eylül-20 Ekim 2022 tarihleri arasında İstanbul ilinde bir eğitim ve araştırma hastanesinin cerrahi kliniklerinde ve ameliyathanede çalışan hemşireler ile yapıldı. Evreni bilinen örneklem yöntemi kullanılarak örneklem sayısı belirlenmiş ve çalışmaya 160 hemşire dâhil edilmiştir. Veriler, ''kişisel bilgi formu'', ''Profesyonel Hemşirelik Değerleri Ölçeği'' ve ''Hasta Mahremiyet Ölçeği'' kullanılarak toplandı ve SPPS 23.0 istatistik paket programı kullanılarak değerlendirildi. Araştırmaya katılan hemşirelerin %80'ni 20-29 yaş aralığında, %79,4'ü kadın, %72,5'i bekâr, %76,9'u lisans mezunudur. Hemşirelerin Profesyonel Hemşirelik Değerleri Ölçeği puan ortalaması 106,81±17,92, Hasta Mahremiyet Ölçeği puan ortalaması ise 4,52±0,52'dir. Mahremiyet Ölçeği'nin alt boyutlarından en yüksek puan özel hayat ve kişisel bilgilerin gizliliği (4,56±0,56) ve cinsiyete ilişkin mahremiyet (4,56±0,54) alt boyutlarından alındığı ve ölçekler arasında pozitif yönde korelasyon olduğu saptanmıştır. Elde edilen verilere göre cerrahi hemşirelerinin profesyonel değer algıları ve mahremiyeti sürdürmeye yönelik davranışlarının yüksek olduğu belirlendi. Hemşirelerin profesyonel değer algısı arttıkça mahremiyete gösterilen özenin arttığı sonucuna ulaşıldı.

ABSTRACT
 Nurses have important responsibilities in protecting and maintaining patient privacy in units providing health care services. Nurses' approaches to this issue are related to their professional values. Professional values in nursing are put into practice in the patient care process by blending personal values, ethical codes of professional organizations and institutional values. This research was conducted to determine the professional value perception and privacy relationship of nurses working in surgical clinics and operating rooms. This descriptive study was conducted with nurses working in the surgical clinics and operating room of a training and research hospital in İstanbul between 19 September-20 October 2022. The sample size was determined using the known population sampling method and 160 nurses were included in the study. The data were collected using the ''personal information form'', ''Professional nursing values scale'' and ''Patient privacy scale'' and evaluated using the SPPS 23.0 statistical package program. %80 nurses are between the ages of 20-29, 79.4% female, 72.5% single, 76.9% undergraduate. The mean score of the Professional Nursing Values Scale of the nurses was determined as 106.81±17.92, and the mean score of the Patient Privacy Scale was determined as 4.52±0.52. It was determined that score from the sub-dimensions of the privacy scale was taken in the privacy and personal information privacy (4.56±0.56) and gender-related privacy (4.56±0.54) sub-dimensions, and there was a high level of positive correlation between the scales. According to the data obtained, surgical nurses have high perceptions of professional values and behaviors towards maintaining privacy. It was determined that as the professional value perception of the nurses increased, the attention paid to privacy increased.

1. TERMS OF USE

1.1. 4.2. People benefiting from the services provided by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and using the website can use the "SITE" only according to the law and only for personal reasons. Users have the criminal and civil liability for every process and action they take in the "SITE". 5. PROPRIETARY RIGHTS

5.1. 7. FORCE MAJEURE

Being late or failure of performance or non-defaulting of this and similar cases like this will not be the case from the viewpoint of "Turkiye Klinikleri", and "Turkiye Klinikleri" will not have any damage liability for these situations. "Force majeure" term will be regarded as outside of the concerned party's reasonable control and any situation that "Turkiye Klinikleri" cannot prevent even though it shows due diligence. Also, force majeure situations include but not limited to natural disasters, rebellion, war, strike, communication problems, infrastructure and internet failure, power cut and bad weather conditions.

8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE". "Turkiye Klinikleri" may change the contract terms and the changes will be come into force by specifying the version number and the date of change on time it is published in the "SITE".
