ÖZET
Amaç: Bu çalışma, kadın basketbolcuların yaşam doyumları ile pozitif ve negatif duygu düzeylerini incelemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Yüz on dört profesyonel kadın basketbolcu araştırma grubunu oluşturmuştur.

ABSTRACT
Objective: This study was carried out to investigate the life satisfaction and positive and negative emotion levels of female basketball players. Material and Methods: One hundred fourteen professional female basketball players formed the research group. Life Satisfaction Scale and Positive and Negative Affect Scale were used as data collection tools. In the analysis of the data, arithmetic mean and standard deviation techniques from descriptive statistics were used to determine life satisfaction and positive and negative affect levels. In order to examine whether there is a significant difference between life satisfaction and positive and negative emotion levels in terms of the league level variable played by female basketball players, first normality test was performed then the one-way analysis of variance (Anova) used to analyze the data. Tukey test was used to determine the source of variance. In addition, pearson correlation analysis was applied to examine the relationship between life satisfaction and positive and negative emotional levels of basketball players, and multiple regression analysis was applied to test its predictiveness. Results: It has been determined that female basketball players have moderate life satisfaction and positive emotions, and positive emotions are higher than negative emotions. While there was a significant difference in life satisfaction levels in terms of the league they played; no difference was found in positive and negative emotion levels. Moreover, there was a positive relationship between life satisfaction and positive emotion levels of female basketball players, and a negative relationship between negative emotion levels. It was determined that life satisfaction predicted positive and negative emotions moderately. Conclusion: It has been seen that female basketball players have a moderate level of life satisfaction and positive emotions, and it has been determined that their positive emotion levels are higher than their negative emotion levels. Moreover, it was determined that as life satisfaction levels increased, positive emotions also increased, and accordingly, negative emotions decreased.
