Bulgular: Gebelerin %92,3'ü bebeğin ilk 6 ay sadece anne sütü alması gerektiğini, %56,8'i emzirmenin 24 ay ve üzeri sürmesi gerektiğini belirtmiştir. Gebelikte emzirmeye devam edilmesi gerektiğini düşünenlerin oranı düşüktür; bu grubun %47,3'ü sağlık personelinin önerisine göre hareket edeceğini ifade etmiştir. Gebelikte emzirmenin zarar verebileceğini düşünenlerin %33,6'sı erken doğum veya düşük riskine, %23,5'i fetüsün yetersiz beslenmesine neden olabileceğini belirtmiştir. %40,3'ü sağlık personeline danışmış, %48,0'i yakın çevresinden olumsuz geri bildirim almıştır. %28,8'i tandem emzirme hakkında bilgi sahibi iken, yalnızca %10'u gebelikte tandem emzirmeyi düşündüğünü belirtmiştir. Sonuç: Bulgular, gebelerin gebelikte emzirme ve tandem emzirmeye ilişkin bilgi eksikliği ve olumsuz düşünceler taşıdığını göstermektedir. Yaygın kaygılar ve kararsızlık dikkate alınarak, interkonsepsiyonel bakım kapsamında kanıta dayalı rehberlere uygun danışmanlık hizmetleri sunulmalıdır.

ABSTRACT
Objective: This study aimed to determine the views of multiparous pregnant women on breastfeeding during pregnancy and tandem nursing, as well as the factors influencing these views. Material and Methods: This descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted between March and May 2022 with 271 pregnant women who applied to the non-stress test (NST) outpatient clinic of a district state hospital. Data were collected through face-to-face interviews using a questionnaire developed by the researcher. Descriptive statistics, Chi-square test, Fisher's exact test, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, t-test, and Mann-Whitney U test were used for analysis. The significance level was accepted as p<0.05. Results: Among the participants, 92.3% stated that infants should be exclusively breastfed for the first six months, and 56.8% believed that breastfeeding should last 24 months or more. A smaller proportion supported continued breastfeeding during pregnancy; 47.3% of them said they would act according to healthcare professionals' recommendations. Of those who thought breastfeeding could be harmful during pregnancy, 33.6% mentioned preterm birth or miscarriage risk, while 23.5% cited inadequate fetal nutrition. A total of 28.4% became pregnant while breastfeeding, all within the first trimester. Among them, 59.7% continued breastfeeding up to the 1st-13th week, and 14.3% observed changes in milk taste or color. During this period, 40.3% consulted healthcare professionals, and 48.0% received negative feedback from their social circles. While 28.8% had heard of tandem nursing, only 10% considered it during pregnancy. Conclusion: The findings indicate that pregnant women have insufficient knowledge and negative perceptions regarding breastfeeding and tandem nursing during pregnancy. Considering the widespread uncertainty and concerns, evidence-based counseling should be provided within the scope of interconceptional care.
