ÖZET
 Amaç: Çalışmanın amacı, ebelik bölümü öğrencilerine çocuk ihmal ve istismarı hakkında verilen eğitimin etkililiğini değerlendirmektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Araştırma, yarı deneysel, kesitsel tipte yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, bir üniversitenin ebelik bölümüne kayıtlı, araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü olan, ?Çocuk İstismarı ve İhmalinin Belirti ve Risklerini Tanılama? konusunda daha önce eğitim almamış 74 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veri toplamada, ?bilgi formu? ve ?Çocuk İstismarı ve İhmalinin Belirti ve Risklerinin Tanılanması Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. ?Çocuk İstismarı ve İhmalinin Belirti ve Risklerini Tanılama? konusunda verilen eğitim, ders saati dışında, toplamda üç saat olmak üzere haftada üç gün verilmiştir. Eğitimden önce ve eğitimden bir hafta sonra ölçeğin öğrenciler tarafından doldurulması sağlanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, ölçek ve alt ölçeklerin eğitim öncesi ve sonrası karşılaştırılmasında ortalama, standart sapma, bağımlı örneklem t-testi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmada ?Çocuk İstismarı ve İhmalinin Belirti ve Risklerini Tanılama? konusunda verilen eğitim sonrası ebelik öğrencilerinin, eğitim öncesine kıyasla ölçek toplam puan ve alt ölçek puan ortalamaları istatistiksel olarak anlamlı şekilde artmıştır. Ayrıca öğrencilere verilen eğitim sonrasında çocuk ihmal ve istismarını tanımada kendini yeterli gören öğrencilerin oranı %35,1?den %74,3?e, yasal sorumluluklarını bildiğini ifade eden öğrencilerin oranı ise %10,8?den %83,8?e yükselmiştir. Sonuç: Ebelik öğrencilerine çocuk istismarı ve ihmalinin belirtileri, riskleri, önlenmesi; mesleki rolleri ve yükümlülükleri; olguların bildirim prosedürleri hakkında verilen eğitim, öğrencilerin öz yeterlilik düzeyi ile çocuk istismarı ve ihmalinin belirti ve risklerini tanıma düzeylerinde artış sağlamıştır.

ABSTRACT
 Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of child neglect and abuse training on midwifery students. Material and Methods: The study was a semi-experimental, cross-sectional study. The sample of the study consisted of 74 students who were enrolled in the midwifery department of a university, who were volunteers to participate in the study and who were not trained before in ?Diagnosing Symptoms and Risks of Child Abuse and Neglect?. In data collection, ?information form? and ?Scale of Diagnosing Symptoms and Risks of Child Abuse and Neglect? were used. Training on ?Diagnosing Symptoms and Risks of Child Abuse and Neglect? was given three days in a week for a total of three hours outside the course hours. The scale was completed by the students before and the one week after the training. The mean score, standard deviation and dependent sample t-test was used to compare the scale and subscales before and after the training. Results: In this study, the mean of the total and subscale scores of the midwifery students were significantly increased after the training when compared to before. In addition, after the training given to the students, the rate of students who considered themselves to be adequate for the recognition of child neglect and abuse was increased from 35.1% to 74.3% and the rate of students who knew their legal responsibilities increased from 10.8% to 83.8%. Conclusion: The levels of self-efficacy and the diagnosing of symptoms and risks of child abuse and neglect were increased in students with training on symptoms, risks, prevention, professional roles and obligations, notification procedures of cases of child abuse and neglect.

4.1. "Turkiye Klinikleri" is completely free to determine which of the services and contents provided in the "SITE" will be charged.

4.2. People benefiting from the services provided by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and using the website can use the "SITE" only according to the law and only for personal reasons. Users have the criminal and civil liability for every process and action they take in the "SITE". 8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE".
